Nature’s Golf

As it was intended.

Connection With Nature.

One of the attractions to the game of golf is the connection with nature. At Mossy Oak Golf Club the combined philosophies of the George Bryan family, course architect Gil Hanse and the leading outdoor brand Mossy Oak deliver a full-sensory experience that truly immerses players into the native habitat and natural surroundings of the Mississippi Black Prairie. From the moment golfers arrive on property, they travel across subtle pathways that are ideal for walking and playing. Extra attention was paid to the native plant species as accents throughout the course to enhance the golfer experience.

Guests are greeted with the genuine charm of the region and offered caddie services and education on the nature, plants and animals seen often on the course.

Designed with a light footprint on the land, the course design of Hanse follows the natural contours of the rolling prairie and oak tree stands. Holes one through five take golfers on a journey through the prairie, oaks and grasses as a showcase of the native landscape and around a challenging combination of par-5, par-4, par-4, par-3, par-5 that also unlocks timeless views and history of the property.
