July 1st, 2016

Mossy Oak is known for its popular camouflage hunting gear and outdoor products, and now the iconic brand is moving into the world of golf. Mossy Oak Golf Club ( is set to open to the public this year as a truly unique golf destination in West Point, Mississippi. Mossy Oak has partnered with the George Bryan family – founders of Old Waverly Golf Club, adjacent to the new project – and architect Gil Hanse to create a “full-sensory experience” that emphasizes the native habitat of the Mississippi Black Prairie. Mossy Oak’s team of outdoor and conservation experts worked with Hanse to prepare the land and guide the selection of grasses and plant life to be used on the property. Mossy Oak Golf Club will have guest cabins to accommodate traveling golfers, and will also serve as the home course for Mississippi State University’s golf teams.
